Should I be feeding crumbles instead of pellets in my bantam pen? I just got my bantams recently, then read somewhere that pellets r too coarse for them. I have 2 Silkies (1 pullet 1 hen) , a Sultan pullet, an EE pullet, & a Frizzled Cochin roo. They've been eating it, just making sure its ok.

My silkies won't touch regular sized pellets, so I feed them micro pellets in mixed grain 50/50. If yours are happy with the pellets and keeping their weight, maybe best to just leave well enough alone.

At first my silkie was fine with the other roo we have, then the roo started to pick on the silkie, so we separated them, we would let them out to play in the dirt sometimes and they hung out together, but now we lost our other cage and we have to keep them together and they are back to fighting, I really need help!!

They probably fight because they are both roos. Ive heard of roos getting along, but if they both want to be alpha I don't think it works out. You might post in behaviors?

Whenever we put them in with the bigger chickens they don't fight, infact, my silkie actually follows around my frizzle roo, but then when they are alone they fight , I think it might be because they are scared of my barred rock and mottled java
