I have a Silkie name snow she is about three months but I don't know if she is a Ben she hasn't crowed yet so what do I do.

post a picture. the fluff on the head is an indicater, if it goes up its a boy if it goes back its a girl. boys have a gap in the front of the fluff above the beak too ready for the cone to grow, my roos was slightly darker on this part of the head too. not sure if i explained that very well is tricky!

Ha thanks for correcting me! cant believe i got muddled i have a hen right next to me as i post this!Other way round. Boys have the ' swoosh ' back do, girls crests are rounded. Comb and waddles are more prominent in developing boys.
