silkie sexing

Silkie hen or roo? 8 weeks old. Is it still too early?

Here are both of my silkies. Since they're developing differently , i assume I've got a pullet and a cockerel ?

The one on the right barely looks like a silkie. Is it a cross?

I am no expert at all, I'm still learning the ropes of silkies, but my guess would be that # 1 looks like a male, and # 2 looks female (does she have a crossed-beak?) I'm not sure on #3 yet. I've always loved the black silkies.

I kinda think that you may have 3 pullets there. My black silkie had hardly any head feathers and a very large purple comb at that age. I'm no expert either though.

I would suspect that you have 3 roos. I don't know how old they are though and I would wait it out if I were you.

they are about five months. I'm think I have one hen and two roos because yesterday I got an egg
