Hi.

Can you please help me sex these they are 16 to 20 weeks

Calico Silkie BOY or GIRL? How to tell the sex of a Silkie pullet or a cockerel can be so difficult! No crowing ...yet. It likes to sit on the eggs in the coop (possibly laid one

) It gets chased off by the bossy buff silkie and makes a funny screech sound if it gets pecked. Someone said they saw streamers on, the head. What about the pin feathers? The comb is small, flat-ish and not bumpy, although a little pink is starting to color a teensy corner of it. It is the largest of my silkies, though all are under a year. I am not supposed to have roosters sooooo, I worry. I just love having silkies for... the kids too!

Can anyone help tell the sex of this silkie? Thanks Backyard Chicken buddies!

Pullet or Rooster? Calico Silkie. I see more color in the comb today. I am totally suspicious.

I just think it looks like a pullet in some ways.

The sun came out in Washington today folks SO Here are some more pics for you Guys to possibly see better detail.... I dont know what I see in the little comb, Hackles? pin feathers? Streamers? Paranoid much?

This bird is very nice. It lets me pic it up. I do restrain the wings of course but he calms easy and then sits for pictures. Literally. So sweet, lets me pet it. It sits on eggs and gets chased off by a silkie hen, is this normal for a roo and be so mild? No crowing, possible egg laying. What is going on here.

Hope you let me know what you think.

Looks like a pullet to me. I'm not sure though. I have only seen calico roos, never a girl. I love the color though, very pretty.
