Alrighty. My youngest babies are now about 11 weeks old. Anyone care to wager a guess?
For the last few weeks I was convinced both were roos just based on their stances, fluffy necks and laid-back crests, but at 11 weeks, although the crests still lay back, they have NO wattles to speak of and the combs are just starting to get bumpy, and still no red/maroon. Nothing about their behavior strike me as overly roo-ish.

The black "Madam Fuzzy Britches". Her/his comb is just slightly more pronounced than the grey, but still not much to speak of. She/he is bearded, but it's a pretty puny beard compared to the grey hehe.

The grey/blue "Dust Bunny". She/he has a much fuller beard.

That black one looks male to me
See how his crest swoops toward the back. My guess is male.I raise silkies too and all my males had a crest that swooped backward. My females are more perfectly round
I could be wrong but I'm guessing male.

Thank you both. I was afraid of that and hopeful, but you've confirmed my thoughts. I'll wait another month or so and check back before deciding who stays and who goes.
