silkie sexing

One of my boys starting crowing sat and they turned 15 weeks sun. I had to break up 2 fights today so it looks like one of our boys is gonna have to go. I thought girl for the black one too but his Afro is sweeping backwards and my blue one looked like that and he had me stumped till about 2 weeks ago when he turned red. All mine are the same age and one of mine I knew at 5 weeks he was a boy cause his comb was HUGE at just 3 weeks old and his comb turned bright red.

Everyone here has been having horrible luck lately, it's def not just you! I have 2 more silkies coming in a couple weeks and I'm def not getting my hopes up.

Sorry to keep going on about my silkies... Just wanted to post more pics of my silkies in question. I think the splash, Willow, is my only (slim) hope for a girl in this bunch. I'm thinking Gracey is a boy :((((((((( She used to walk so low, like a hen. But that seems to be changing.

I really hope the farm has some hens available...

My friend told me because we have a dominant rooster (Albedo- the white one), the two others- if they are roos, won't develop fully and won't crow and such. That true? She suggested I separate them to see if they'll crow.

I have 4 silkies and I think its 1 roo and 3 pullets but I'm never that lucky. So whats your thoughts?

One is much larger with THICK legs

These three all are petite and a bit smaller then the first.

Sorry the pics aren't the best.

How old are they? I agree 3 Roos and 1 hen. The hen being the one in the very last pic.

Reckless can you get a better pic of your blue ones comb?

Btw idk if the dominate rooster thing is true cause Nugget isn't the dominate and he crowed first. Splash is my roo who got red fast and we could tell at such a young age he was a roo but he's yet to crow.

Here are all of their combs- I posted the pics a page back but I'll make it easier. Like I said, white one Albedo is a boy obviously.

I'd love to hear what you experts thought of my silkie. It is around 8-9 weeks old.

I've been reading this thread, and I'm afraid you're going to tell me it's a cockerel. This is one of my "bucket list" chickens, and my second attempt to raise one.
