silkie sexing

Hello,

Chicken newbie here hoping for some ideas on my Silkie chicks. I've looked at many previous posts and have some ideas, but would love some input! Blue and White are around 14 weeks, Buff around 8 weeks. Thoughts? I've always thought my blue was a roo, and white was a hen, but now the white one has me confused. The Blue & White have a little showdown every morning, bowing and jumping at eachother, but it seems harmless (no pecking, kicking etc). What sort of behavior do you look for in roosters (besides crowing of course)?

My pullet has bumps but not huge. They started growing in the last few weeks. You have pics of them?
The head poofs on these three are so poofy I doubt the combs would photograph very well. It's all I can do to get a finger on them to see what's what. But definitely all the same and not like our fourth silkie who is a cockeral with a very bumpy mulberry colored comb. Will just have to wait to see how many eggs we get from them. A three egg day is what we're hoping for!

OK I know it is still really early to tell and I am a first time chicken owner. These 2 are almost 5 weeks old. I am guessing the Partridge is pullet (fingers crossed) and the Splash? (supposed to be white) probably cockerel. What do you think?

Yup... so all my silkies are boys. Of course, we all knew Albedo baby was a rooster.

And then Willow (the splash) because he crows. But Gracey (the blue/black)... there's no way he could be a girl at this point. Everything points to rooster.

So yep. They're all boys. Sigh. We're keeping Albedo because he's so bonded with me, I could only bear to part with him if he became aggressive with me (sometimes I do have to put him in his place but he submits fairly willingly to me thankfully- though not to other chickens). Willow will be incorporated into the flock when the coop is finished, he seems like he'll be a good rooster (though we honestly don't need one) and I'd love for his genes to be passed on.. Gracey might too. I dunno if I can bear to part with him. :/ He's a very submissive rooster so he works well with Willow right now... we'll see.

But. Now it's the matter of.. I really want a hen or two!

It seems impossible to find one!
