Ok, here I am again Guesses? Its about 4 months old. The pictures don't show it well, but its got some longer feathers on the back of its crest that look like a rattail Anyway, I REALLY need a nice boy and I think this chick is quite lovely

Here are my Silkies - about 5 months old from what I have found out - adopted them from someone who's farm was closing. These are the best pictures of my white one "Snow White", lovingly named by the children. I will get better pics of the buff one, "Emma" tomorrow and post on here... Let me know what you think of Snow White

Still lost about Gracey's sex. She's 17 weeks old now.

She's the blue/black. Albedo (white) and Willow (splash) are boys for sure. Sunflower (partridge) is a girl.
Sunflower is two weeks younger than her I believe and she is catching up in size.
Gracey is half the size of Willow and Albedo and her legs are THIN and small. She's got that s-shaped neck too.
Willow mounts both Sunflower and Gracey but I know that roosters mount all sexes.


She looks pretty hen-like to me in the below picture.
She's just now starting to get comb/waddles, but the comb is still practically non existent and the waddles are teeny.
She's a hatchery chick by the way.

I haven't seen any streamers in her neck. Or head. That I know of. Her neck feathers looks like the neck of the hen a silkie breeder showed me.
I can try to get more pics tomorrow. Mosquitoes were eatin' me up today.
