We have four 8-week old silkies. I have a terrible feeling we only have one hen and three Roos. I would love to hear your thoughts.

I was desperately hoping my "3 and 1" guess was wrong, but you and I have the same assessment. This is the second time we have given our Silkies fertilised eggs to hatch. and the second time we have ended up with 3 roos and 1 possible hen. I'm thinking we may need to look at introducing some pullets to the flock....at this rate it will take years before we get up to the 6-hen target.
I'll keep you posted with the final outcome.
