Silkie sexing

Anybody know the sex of this silkie I picked it up at an auction today, I know this is really hard to tell as it seems quite young.

It's a bit young to tell for a silkie but if I had to throw a wild guess out there, I would guess a boy because the comb looks kind of big, and I think I see streamers?

Yeah I was thinking boy, what do u mean streamer? Behind the comb? How old do u reckon it is?

I agree, it looks like a rooster. This is because of the large comb (hens have smaller ones, usually), small crest (hens have puffier, less slicked back ones) and "streamers" (pointy, longer feathers in the crest-- hen's don't usually have them).

I would say roo, think I see streamers and a large comb I would guess 3-4 months maybe adorable though!
