I have silkies too and so far they are the sweetest birds, even the roos. They are only 12 weeks old but the other chicks are not a nice and don't want to be held like my silkies do. I l♥them!!

It really is amazing how different their dispositions are. Our LF girls are all very sweet and relatively docile...we can pick up some of them and they seem to enjoy it for a few seconds.

The difference is that the silkies seem to WANT to be held. Our splash cockerel that is nearing one year LOVES to be held and sticks his head in your hair and coos. He will stay like that for as long as you will hold him.
