Silkie sisters died - need advice for last one

I started out with 3 buff silkies within my flock, and two have died recently, leaving one. They were the bottom of the pecking order and all the silkies flocked together within the larger group. I'm trying to figure out how to give my remaining hen companionship again or if she even needs it.

If I buy silkie chicks in the same color would they likely grow up and flock with my remaining one or would I be stuck with a 2 and 1 situation?

I do have chicks that I'm brooding right now, so it wouldn't just be two chicks in the brooder.

How many chickens do you have, aside from the chicks in the brooder, and the one silkie?

I've got 6 other hens, so a total of 7 with my silkie. 11 if you count my chicks!
