Something I read here has me totally flabbergasted! I have re-read it more than once now and my world might be spinning all wonky.

To have EXTRA silkies – you have to have silkies. I thought PC did not like silkies (except properly dressed for the table).

Only a mean idiot would eat a silkie.

-About the broth in cups. You do have to cover the tops. I use aluminum foil. Otherwise it dries out and you get that "freezer taste"

x3....

Let me get this straight...y'all are kidnapping PC and bringing him here to cook for us? Should I hide my Silkies or hatch more for him to to eat?

Ok, I did not find a good size pressure cooker at Kohl's I wanted (But we did manage to spend a bunch on a new calphalon set with a huge stock pot and a steamer).

Anyways... I have plans for the stock, with Thanksgiving this batch will go quick. I have at least 1 silkie we'll be dispatching if no one wants him for Breeding by this weekend so I'll make another batch next week. However, I am torn as to what to do with the cooked veggies?! Should I try to turn them into a dip or something? Or should I just let them go to the chickens? I used to just toss them into the compost... but now I think that is wasteful!?

Suggestions?!
