Hi! I just had to add some pics of our Silkies. Here are their names and coloring:

Desi - adult roo, very handsome black....very good at protecting his hens
Lucy - Desi's girl and the only one laying eggs at the moment. She is a grey/blue
Fred - Very handsome adult roo. He is more "tame" than Desi and he is a golden Buff
Ginger - Fred's girl. She is getting close to egg laying time and she is so petite....very cute and has a very fuzzy butt!

Cookie - Is one of 3 4-5 month olds we got from the same breeder. She is a cute little black hen that is a favorite of both Desi and Fred
Crumb - Is a nervous little splash silkie. She has a unusual cluck/ peeping that she makes...almost like a horn

Smokey - A very nice FUZZY grey/blue. She cries out alot because the others will move to another spot and she can't see, so she lets them know she is lost.

Then....we have some younger "fuzzheads" (as they were known before names).
Snap, Crackle and Pop - 3 Buff or Partridge (not sure yet...new to this). I believe Snap to be a roo though (bummer

)
Mo - a petite little one with mostly tan and almost black (darker on the topknot).
Nugget - Like Mo, but darker greys and an almost black topknot

Yep jury's in Gonzo is definitely a pullet, and Bonzai is a cockeral. So a pair!

This is Dominic my Partridge rooster.

This is Bella (right) my partridge silkie hen.

 

[Sonoran Silkies]

Dominic is not partridge. He is a grey with autosomal red on his wings. One of the variations of "calico." I don't see the partridge in Bella, either, but it could be the angle and the chicken wire. In that photo she looks more like buff.

Snap, Nugget & Mo are partridge; Nugget is blue.
