I love, love mine. I have only gray ones though I do have a silkie/cochin mix that is lovely, too. Silkie mutts -- I think not! Anything mixed with a silkie......

Here is a question for discussion.

I have a silkie cockerel out of show stock. It does not have a toenail on the first toe. Is this a DQ. I have heard both yes and no.

What do you eggspert say or hopefully know for a fact!

I do not believe it is a DQ, but you do get points taken off for missing toenails. Most judges do not even notice that though.
