silkie thread

I take very bad pictures and I even had to make them dark to get the yellow to go away. I read about the photo box and tryed it, well. Any way here is Snow Flake both 11 weeks today.

Here are three girls I got yesterday from a gal that used to show, but now is just concentrating on her laying flock. All three are about the same lookswise. I got a black roo too but it was raining out and late in the day and the light was fading, and so was my battery. Look! there in the first picture. Look at how small the black roo's comb is! I will try to get pics of him later.

These are my first babies. I really like them they are sooo cute. They are starting to fluff out more and more each day.
I really like the white one. I hope they are girls because I can't have roosters.
 
I have 17 chickens and 14 are Silkies. I am proud of this blue/splash chick in the first picture which is when my Blue Cochin Roo got in with a blue silkie. So far looks like a girl. She has dark eyes like a silkie and I am anxcious to see how she developes.

I hatched chicks in first pic and bought the splash Roo and hens a couple of months ago.

I forgot this Splash Pair. Cannot wait tilthe girls are old enough to lay. I have One Blue hen laying so far.

I so agree. I love silkies. I have had them for many years. my son has a few now but this summer I can't wait to find hatching eggs from show quality birds...... come on spring!!!!
