OMG

Most of my birds get there true crest on their second year molt. They are very large their first year, but once they have that second molt it doubles in size. That is how this partridge did, when she molted late this summer.

The Blue partridge hens, are so young but the crest are already getting big, and they haven't finished coming in yet!
