well we had baby number 3 hatch looks to be a black will not know till it drys off and i see at least 6 more pips. now only 20 more need to pip and they probably do but where i can not see them here is baby 3

its on craigslist for free 2 hrs away thinking about using it as grow out pen for silkies. should i get it? needs TLC badly but it has potental

Trust me, chicken math is a major problem with silkies. They are sooooo addictive! You should definitely get some!

Okay, I'm genetically challenged. I have white silkies. I want blue-- and a friend has black silkies that she'd be willing to hatch some eggs for me. Sooo... it doesn't sound like it would work, but do black and white make Blue?? And if not, how do you get Blue? Do you have to start with Blue? Do a pair blacks ever throw blue??? Or are they black/black. Set me straight!! Thanks!
