Our first chicken came with our house, and we acquired a few more feed store birds over the next couple of years; we've lived here almost 13 years. I got my first silkies in 2001, so about 10.5 years with them. After we first got chickens, I discovered that long ago my uncle used to breed and exhibit bantam leghorns.

Ok I have a question for you guys I have one chick that I got from a breeder and its middle toe is crooked its kind of turned on its side, I was planning on useing it as a breeding bird before I saw the toe. She is 5-7 weeks old will she/he pass it on to there offspring? I just got her and am not sure if it was like this when she was born though I am don't think it was. She is DM favorite so she/he will be staying even if she is not a breeder bird.

Thanks for any Help you have,

Happy-Hens
