Taking a chance here --- I had someone at Crossroads give me (a Canadian) 3 eggs to take home to hatch. She wasn't even sure if all of them were fertile. One is about to hatch (amongst all my other large fowl birds) - a "white". But I don't know who gave me the eggs.

I'm hoping that they may be part of this thread ....

I am brand new to Silkies and this will be my only one. Any advice????

Grrrrr. I have a bantam white rock frizzle that was a "gift" egg in the summer (who is now the apple of my eye) and now this Silkie that I'm assuming is about to make an appearance ....
