Oh no.....on more boys. I have 3 beautiful black silkie roos. I don't know what to do with them. I was thinking about putting them on byc but I wouldnt even know how to list a silkie. Hatching eggs r easy but what do I say about a silkie roo.

Oh no! Cali's egg is safely inside now... well, not too safe, it'll probably be breakfast tomorrow!

It's a little long looking too. I have a few hens that lay eggs kind of like that... funny looking, to me.
Also, got some nice green eggs in the nest today. Love getting them.

Hang in there! You never know how they'll turn out. I have an "it" that I am undecided on, but it sure looks like a cockerel to me, but the crest is still so round. However, it looks like some of the pin feathers coming in are a bit longer than the others... But no comb growth at all. My gut says boy. I'll be surprised if mine ends up a pullet, but you never know!! (i'm still holding out a bit of hope, I guess) How old is yours? Mine is about 4 months, and I'm not 100% sure yet. I think a couple more months and you'll know.
