I'm not sure I can find a photo that does a good job of showing the eyes, but I can probably find a photo (not necessarily a silkie) with eyes that are much to light, and SHOULD be a DQ. Note that not all judges check eyes. Many onlyh check toes to make sure the count is correct, and I've known ones that have missing toes to place. I recall being really angry at a fellow exhibitor who was elated that the judge didn't DQ, her bird that was missing toes--that he placed it BV. I don't mind someone accidentally showing a bird that has a DQ, because they missed it (I've done that) or because they want feedback on a project, but deliberately choosing to compete with a bird that they know should be DQed is a problem.if u dont mind could u post a pic of a good silkie eye and one u might get Dqued for at a show
