Would this hen's color be considered Partridge?

Don't hold me to it, but yes I'd consider her partridge, she is just a really dark partridge. Not the proper color, she should have more penciling in the hackles/neck but overall she definitely looks partridge, just a dark based. I love the darker partridge girls :) she is very pretty, and obviously a very good mummy.

What color do u get when u breed a partridge silkie rooster to a buff silkie hen

It all depends on the genes of the buff, buff is a very complex color, and partridge can be a bit of a wild card too...Buff you can have a buff with blue underfluff and smutt, or you can have a buff with the black, sometimes either color is visible other times not... You are more likely from my experimental color breedings to get a very smutty buff or a very yellow/orange washed out partridge.

Can someone please tell me about eye color in buffs? I have ordered eggs from several different breeders and hatched about a dozen chicks out. They all have brown eyes. Is this acceptable? Is it more difficult to get black eyes in a buff?
