Silkie thread!

HELP-- I just got in my shipped eggs from a breeder. They were absolutely PERFECT and she did an excellent job of bubble wrapping each egg. HOwever, when I was unrolling one, it slid out the bottom of the bubble wrap and landed on another egg. The egg that dropped got a crack!!!! The other egg is fine. So what I can put over that crack and hope for the best??? I've been reading and have seen people tell others to use Nail polish and wax.... is that right?? Or wrong?? I want to fix it in a hurry!

ETA--- just read someone said they used a Glue stick??? Not sure what

Some people use scotch tape so you might put that on temporarily to give you time to get some imput unless peeling it off would pull off pieces. I like the wax idea the best but never have needed anything.

Okay, here is my "handiwork". I got these fabulous eggs shipped to me this morning and I managed to crack one as I was unwrapping it from bubble wrap. It dropped out the bottom of the wrap. I'm kicking myself for being so clumsy with it. Anyway, now that I put the wax on, I have people telling me on my home thread that tape is better! So sad, so I probably did the wrong thing for this egg. I used the end of a match stick, dipped it in the wax and sort of rubbed, dripped the wax over the cracks. I candled it several times to be sure I got all the hairline cracks, too. There were a lot.

I think this egg might be toast, but I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for the best! Here is the "Before" and "After" pictures of what I did.

HELP!!
We have a sneezing hen. She's been doing it for two days now and I'm a little concerned because of the chicks that are hatching. She sneezes quite often. Looks like she's got some sort of clear discharge coming out of her eye now. This is new.
As soon as I go back outside I will go and separate her from he others, just incase. What can I do to help the little lady? Are there any other symptoms I should be looking for? I even trimmed the feathers around her face thinking they were irritating her because the feathers on the left side of her face were going in her eye, but she's still sneezing.

These are the two beauties I found this morning.

Can't help you with the sneezing, but what pretty babies!!!

Hi experts! I've been so excited for my little flock to get to an age where their gender can be identified - sure makes naming them alot easier...
So here they are and I would love for you all to help me out. No one has crowed or layed an egg yet and they are all in the 3-4 mth old range. Oh, and there are actually 2 cuckoos; one has a red leg band (pictured with the gray) and the other does not. Thank you SO MUCH! Please let me know if you need another angle or anything on anyone...
