New to Silkie World...well I'm still not in the world yet they are in the bator as we speak...I'll keep you peeps posted and with pics!!

Just found out my silkie hen Ellie is show quality!!! Im so excited!!! I took her to school for my ag presentation and she was wonderful at being bathed

WOW That's wonderful! How did you find out that she is SQ? When my Catdance silkies grow up a bit I will probably take them to a show or something to have them looked at for SQ. Fun for you!

I have 5 bantam white silkies and 4 silkiexpolish navy blue and All eggs are fertile, with tiny little babies inside!

Once your eggs hatch you can kiss that incubator bye lol. Your silkies will brood anything you need hatched. Great moms from what I hear too.

Silkie eggs can range from white to off-white (tinted) to light brown from my reading. In my experience, off-white to light brown.

My blue splash lays a pretty light brown, it's actually just more than a light brown..will get a picture tomorrow.
