Personally I think Wedgwood (there is no second e in the spelling) is a pretty word, but does not reflect the colouring. "wedgwood" is 1) an English manufacturer of fine and everyday china or 2) a specific hue of blue unique to that manufacturer. Now much of their china is indeed porcelain, so that could be a fun play on words, but my first thought when I hear it is wedgwood blue, not the porcelain manufacturer.
