Yeah SL Polish X Porcelain Silkie (Toulouse and Nori). I'm gonna hatch a few out this spring myself (hopefully!) and keep one, give one to me friend, and sell any others that hatch. It's good to be a worrisome mom, I think! I know I am.![]()

Here's a picture of my black pullet in the sun. She's not split but the color would be the same. You can see a little green shine.Question, I have a Black/Black Split. Do the pullets get the green sheen on some of the wing feathers too?

I've been reading the huge post of lavender Silkies- but not finding this answer. One of my lavenders has 2 stripes down his back (he came from a lavender pen) Is he gonna be a porcelain (I also have some porcelains from the group, different pens. Won't mind at all if he is. I'll have to take a pic next week.

Hey y'all I know these aren't the best quality but do y'all think they will make some perty babies for me ? In breeding for paint the hen has a few black spots
Lol yea all babiesI think they will be cute, aren't all the babies cute? Is your rooster black with silver? Have you set eggs already? I will be interested to see them for sure!![]()
the roo is black with silver leakage I just put them in the pen together so in a month or so I'm gonna let her set on some I will definitely have pics ASAP and these are the best quality silkies I have in my reach right now but towards the fall I will have some better quality blacks to breed to these so they will have more spots an hopefully better quality
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
