Silkie thread!

thank you, they are awesome.sherry butler? Does she sell on bys or does she have a website.I'm very new to chickens and byc,I don't know much, but very anxious to learn.
I constantly have to recheck what I write.bys came out bus once and boys another time.my computer automatically rewrites what I write without my knowledge.unless of cource I can't spell something, then it leaves as is.so if what I write don't make no since, that's usually why,and I just did'nt catch it. So frustrating!

S Butler lives in Bothell/Woodinville area of Washington State. I've never met her or seen her flocks. I purchased hatching eggs at the WFF Winter Brisk show last fall. I used a liaison I met on BYC and she delivered the eggs to me. Sheryl Butlers reputation for beautiful Whites is legendary. I've heard she is now down sizing her farm.

My Grey Marg Best roo is six months old. I lost my little pullet that I purchased with him as a pair. I have no other Grey chicks and don't know how I'm going to use him. He is a funny little character. He and the Catdance White roo can't tolerate each others company so I put a cage over them so Stinkus could play on the grass and act tough. He is light for a grey but I don't care. He has beautiful color and his foot feathering is magnificent. I've cut half his crest back and also cut his cushion back. I didn't need to yet. Though he is crowing, he shows no interest in the girls. Six months is still too young for hanky panky.

He has no leakage or off color. He does love his FF and gets filthy with it. Silly boy!
Love the foot feathering on this guy! He reminds me of my rooster, Curly, when he was a young guy.

And where can I get beauties like this??

around 5 to 8 weeks.
Precious photos!
Wet her crest back and take a photo for us.
I don't remember who told me this but we used it for kittens and now I use it for chicks. one drop of baby shampoon in 1/2 cup warm water. Wash eyes thoroughly to remove all build up every time they stick shut. Antibiotic eye ointment may also be effective. Depends if it's bacterial or infection. It could also be allergy.
Awwww! My babies look so pretty! Wonderful dog!
What a great boy!!

That Silkie is GORGEOUS!

Have you thought of an allergy? Possibly to corn or soy? They have corn and soy free foods, but I don't know if you want to spend the money to order it specifically for her adn the work to keep her away from the rest

Where are you located again? I need a black and would take her for you but I don't know how far you are.

edit: nvm your in CA, so unless your willing to ship I obviously can't help

I really don't think she has any allergy. All my birds eat organic, soy and corn free. They are all very healthy. I think there is more to it. Her immune system is probably very weak and that is why she is probably bleeding. It's is heartbreaking because I did everything to save her. Here she is whenever she was healthy and beautiful.... So sad:
