Just wanted to share a few pictures of my babies. These are from my own flock and couldn't be happier.

What color do you call the fourth picture? I have a chick hatch like that and I don't know what to call it.

I'm not sure what color to call it but I like it. It might be a blue with silver leakage or some kind of dark partridge with silver feathers.

Im hoping it looks like this but with silver instead of gold coloring when it gets bigger.

My niece gave me 2 of some she just hatched and I don't think they'll look anything like that. But I'm grateful for whatever I get. But I wouldn't mind a few beauties!

Bruce Lee hatched yesterday. A surprise egg in with bantam chocolate orps. We are enamored.
Bruce Lee is adorable!
This is my daughter with her silkie bama
Great picture!

Your babies are really cute. Mystery colors are fun!

PaintedFeathers over there got me thinking that maybe I should come up with some sort of a name for my little bantam operation.

I have the Silkies and Cochins and I plan to breed them this year. And show! As soon as those buggers stop sneezing! I'm sending one to be looked at and hopefully I'll get some answers to what's going on with couple of our Silkies and the Turkey next door. Tylosin, Oxine, VetRX, Aureomycin didn't do anything either. This is where my expertise ends.

But anyway. I need a "farm name"!

I live on Ray of Light Farm but the chickens belong to me (other than a couple that the farm owns) so I feel that they should have their own farm name.

Suggestions?

How about the name "Feather Foot Farm"? Not sure if it is already taken. As far as antibiotics- try Amoxicillin, 100mg in 1 cup of drinking water, change daily. Do this for 6 days. It saved my cochin hen.

Here's my baby, Chiquita, helping me type. She's almost one month now. I had to look up her hatch date... March 20.

OMG! I'm used to seeing puppies and kittens on people's keyboards but a Silkie chick is a new one on me. Too cute and I just love her name!!

She's obviously a very smart little chick!
