Adorable chick!
They usually do well if they are raised together. I haven't had success if they aren't unless one is very young and not breeding yet.
Definitely blue.
The top one is very likely a boy because of the redish cast to the comb. The other one is very likely a boy because of the large size of comb at such an early age. Sorry....

Bummer Im gonna hang on to them awhile longer just incase they decide to be pullets lol. But if anyone in the NH area is intersted in Catdance Silkie Roos, 1 Splash, 1 Porcelain, PM me.

I love roo's, but I already have one, and probably 2 now(friend's turns out to be most likely a boy) so I have no more room for roo's =P Why not keep them? What town do you live in? They are really not that loud.

I already have 3 adult roos 1 young roo and 5 baby roos now the 2 possible silkie roos.

Speaking of roos... could the inferior roo act sick and just lay around if the dominant roo was being too pushy? he keeps going through phases of acting ill, and it has been going on a while but I can't figure out what could be wrong. I wonder if he'd act weird and lay around if he felt too pushed around by the other roo? the other roo has been trying to mate with him too. he dances for him and everything.. probably because the girls won't let him have any action! UGH! what is wrong with those girls????

My daughter hatched out a chick that has a bit of splay leg and funny toes that go in a little. We are trying to get the splay leg together with a pony tail thing and tape. Will poly vi sol help with the toes? ( with out iron) thanks for any help.

Well after a stressful hatch, here are my new Catdance babies. One buff, one lavender, and one partridge(??) It hatched out of an egg marked B/S, so I have no idea, maybe a miss marked egg?? Plus a Paint chick I bought today A very sweet group!
