Hatcheries aren't so bad if you just want a pet or eggs. I have 10 hatchery SLW and 20 Leghorns as part of my egg flock that I love. They aren't going to win any shows for sure, but they're so comical and friendly and lay nice eggs. Be sure to post pics as she gets older

these are the two white silkie chicks I just hatched this Spring.. They are living in a brooder in our garage but they like to come inside every once and a while to nap on me or climb all over me and play

I will have to find out how good of a quality she is, Toulouse is 2nd Gen. hatchery and he's awesome =)
 
Sorry but it's not going to get one. Hatchery birds don't look much like the breeds they are supposed to be. Some hatchery silkies have no foot feathers too. Hatchery birds are basically cheap crap. If you want a decent bird, buy from a reputable breeder.
