I put mine in lockdown yesterday and took them out today. I had my dates wrong. Being gone really messed me up!

Yes she is a Russian Blue. She was rescued from Rt 17 as a kitten with her surviving sisters. Two were already smooched in the road.

hmm i have a cat just like that i always thought was a grey tabby he was also found on the highway next to captin ds as akitten... so his name is fishsticks lol

I have a little green egg out in the Silkie coop under my broody hens. The other eggs hatched Saturday or Sunday, if I remember right. I set all the eggs at the same time but this last egg just pipped today (Thursday). How does that work?? I was going to throw it away earlier in the week but I candled it and could have sworn I saw something moving, so I left the egg with the hens. Good thing I did!

Good move! I don't wait for movement, if I just see a dark mass and no smell, that's good enough for me.
I put my 11 remaining eggs in lockdown last night. I have 1 pip as of noon today

I'm expecting this porcelain baby sometime tonight
