I havv 7 silkies ~ I adult rooster - 2 younger roos - 4 pullets . I love them

I love my Silkies for their personality. They are such fun to watch

Your Pocco is very handsome, but there is something going on with his feathering. He looks to have a lot of regular feathers in his tail?

I have never seen an upright tail like that on a Silkie - usually their tails look like giant puff balls. Where did you get him?

thank you and I got him fromm one of my friends who got him form a chicken swap lol hes been in a lot of different homes. We rescued him

they were going to kill him

He's pretty

looks like a cross, or a hatchery boy, but still a very handsome man and i'm sure does his job well! Especially since he can actually see LOL Unlike my little man.

haha actually he doesn't rlly seem to breed the hens, well the only hens I have with him right now are a Dominique, cochin, and a little old eglish bantam, he tries breeding the cochin but then my little oeb roo comes over and sometimes steals his 'thunder!' lol he will eventually get there lol

oh lol haha yea, he's kinda shy and alittle loner, but when its a beautiful day he enjoys the sun with the rest of the little free range flock I have a free range and a pen where I keep my smaller chickens and bantams
