Colie <3 :
My goodness sakes, you poor woman!! You have a 5 week old? How on earth do you even have your sanity enough right now to get on the computer and actually talk intelligently with us??
I was still out of my mind with sleep deprivation when my son was 5 weeks old. Even when he wasn't crying (which wasn't often lol) I'd still think I heard him crying it was literally ringing in my ears
I've wondered how having another baby would work out with my birds, sounds like you're swinging things a lot better than I would be if you are still hatching and such. I seriously think I'd have to take a long awhile off wowzers! Very lucky you had you're mom to help, I can't even imagine dealing with all my birds pregnant and I have less than 30! Just had to pick my jaw up off the floor and say Hats off to you!!!
I can definitely relate..... Kaylie will be 6 weeks old on thursday. She has a nightly ritual of throwing a temper tantrum from about 8pm til midnight at least. She doesn't sleep for more than 2-3 hours at once yet. My birds and horses are the only thing keeping me sane right now. I am cleared to go back to work this weekend from maternity leave and can't wait to get out of the house. This whole week has been spent taking advantage of the only free time for a while. All the bird pens and brooders got stripped and thoroughly cleaned. Birds bathed, getting a bit of riding horse in when the weather cooperates, and massive spring cleaning in the house too.
As long as I had the camera out tonight, I snapped pics of the rugrat too.
