Those could be White, could be Partridge, could be a mixed up color that will be whatever it wants to be. Very cute chicks!

What color are the parents? That will help you determine what they might be, maybe

That is very interesting about putting your chicks with the hen after they have hatched. We are new at this and we had three Silkie chick's. They are 4 months old and two of them started to crow.
Unfortunately they never stop crowing. It would start at 6 in the morning and go one anytime of the day. The one cockerel that seemed to be the leader was Dottie the other Lovie what can I say they were suppose to be hen's. Dottie had a beautiful crow, Lovie on the other hand had a very strange crow. When Lovie would crow Dottie would attack him . When they were in the yard and Dottie would get too far from CoCo (our Hen) Lovie would try and mount her . That would send Dottie after Lovie or CoCo and peck them for almost a full min. than stop and be best friends till Dottie would turn his back and it would go on and on. . We live in town and have close neighbors. Monday we had to take them to a new home

. Now CoCo is alone. We have ordered some more chicks. They should be here any day now. Not really sure how she will reacted to them, We were going to keep them in the house till they get their feathers. But my question is . She is 4 months old and has not started to lay yet. Can you put chicks with a hen if they are not broody? Or is she too young? I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance I am still trying to figure out how to navigate the site.

I LOVE the animations

I put a week old EE chick in with mine that is that age and it would run under them like they were its parents.

On a side note Giradelli my pullet is really Hershey my cockerel. At 7+ months he has sprouted watles and a comb. Out of all the pictures I have posted on here no one has ever taged it with cockerel. I guess my search for a roo is over. Lol. Now I have 4 pullets and 1 cockerel. Hopefully it will stay that way.

How could it be partridge? It looks pretty whitish to me? I don't know much about coloring so I am just wondering how that chick could turn brown...?
