Silkie thread!

I need some advice please. Stormey's clutch of eggs is at Day 23 today by my calculations. One egg hatched Friday, right on time, but nothing else has pipped or hatched as of this morning. I candled the eggs around Day 15'ish. I didn't take pictures but here are some similar images I pulled from the web. 1 egg looked like this. I'm assuming this is the one that hatched Friday. The other 11 eggs looked more like this but each had a visible air pocket: Are the rest of eggs bad? Should I go ahead and pull them from Stormey or wait another day? How will she react if I take her eggs away? Then, there's the question of the single chick, Uno. I pulled her and placed her in a brooder until there was another hatch - this being the first time for me and for Stormey. Can I place her back under Stormey now? Should I wait till tonight and exchange Uno for the remaining eggs (assuming nothing else hatches)? Sorry for all the questions but I don't want to make any mistakes.
The rest of the eggs would appear infertile to me of they looked like that. I'd throw them away and give her the chick back. Just watch and make sure she accepts it back. She'll leave the nest with the chick within a day or so of the eggs being gone. The only reason she had stuck around is because you took the one chick away from her.

I have some silkie eggs coming to be and so excited. I'm hoping I'll get a roo out of the hatch if 8 eggs. Wanting to breed my blue hen Lydia.

I'll get eaother white, paint, partridge, black, lavenderaplash, splash, or blue.

what would I get I'd I bread one of the colors I listed to my girl?

belows a pic of her Lydia

If you are wanting to stay within color breeding groups then Blue is bred to Blue, Black or Splash. Anything outside of that will be wildcard breeding - and who knows what you will get. Paint is another wild card, its not well established and you will get all sorts of mixed colors from using it. Partridge can crop up in any breedings, its recessive and hides really well under all the other colors. The only problem is it usually carries Autosomnal Red, which is NOT wanted in any other color lines. White is similar to Partridge in that it is recessive and will hide unless there are two copies of the gene in the bird. I would not breed Lavender into anything except Lavender or Porcelain for the same reason, it will hide and crop up unexpectedly.

That's kind of what I thought.
Thanks so much for the advice!
Can you get any other chicks from the feed store maybe? If so I would pick up 2 or 3. They don't necessarily have to be Silkies if you are wanting to stick with show quality. Just anything you would like a couple of since you have a maintenance free brooder. and they will be Uno's friends.

I actually have, but I wasn't sure if it felt normal or not. Can you explain to me a little better at what I should be looking for and where exactly in the abdomen I should feel feeling the egg? would it be a hard egg? soft??

and would she still be alive after a month like this? I thought if she laid internally, that she'd be dead by now.

well, i don't know much. But ivcelynn's feels like an egg shaped rock. They can live with it.

Hmmm good to know but it kinda grosses me out to touch their butts

Haha- you'll soon be a pro at touching butts, poop on you, more poop on you, yet more poop. If they ever have runny poop when they are older, they will make sure to flap their wings and fling it in your eye and lip. You'll keep your lips closed tightly till you can get to your sink.
