Silkie thread!

For those of you that show....I saw something the other day I had not seen before. There was a silkie that has lovely feathering on the toes - but also - beside the middle and outside toes - had feathers growing on the inside two toes. Would this be a fault?

I want to know too. One of my babies that just hatched has fuzz on all her toes. Yes even the little tiny 5th toe.

i am trying to breed my two buff silkies and how can i be sure that the rooster is mating with her? they are currently at my grandparents house, i go there every weekend, and yesterday i put the rooster and hen in a cage by themselves inside the chicken coop and before it got dark i let JUST the rooster out with the rest, today i did the same thing although i have no idea if the rooster is still with her or not. is this a good sete up or should i do something else? when i get enough eggs i will give them to my great grandpa and he will hatch them in his incubator. what do yall think?
