Silkie thread!

One of my Silkies died and the other one might. I hope the one will be okay. At least I have one strong one left.

I have a loner now myself, too young to go in with other chicks at the moment so he's flying solo. I ended up carrying him around in my bra most of yesterday, yes I'm one of THOSE chicken people, lol, but when he went back in his brooder he got two stuffed animals and a felt pad for him to snuggle with. He's still wanting attention from me but is much quieter alone in his brooder today.

Very sorry to hear.

If it's alone put a stuffed animal in with it. I've seen people use a hung feather duster too, good idea but I don't know about a used one.
Yeah. Oh okay thanks. It's not alone yet though

Oh okay lol. Yeah the one wants the other one to mess around but it's just sitting there.

my silkie hen is still sitting on her eggs and its day 22 but only one hatched yesterday...i checked today and there were no pips or cracks on the other eggs. What do you guys think?

These are some of Seven I snapped this morning. About a week old, if it's not a true Silkie, bc of no foot feathers, any idea what breed? Thanks.

I love silkies! Such a pretty breed to own. We had three, but the blind one, Berton, died. We have a black, and lavender currently. There names are Chewbacca, and Violet. ( Chewie for short. ) Chewie has currently gone broody. Chewie is the sweetest thing! Violet always comes up to me in the morning and gives me a friendly peck. Then gets her food. My mother promised if I can keep my grades up to A's I get more silkies. I got A's and one B+.
