Just put some water water in u tub and soak it off. You will need to separate the feathers with your fingers.
Thank you soooo much!

Hey. My 2 chicks are 10 days old. So cute. I'm still guessing what color. Either blue or spash. My blue hen went sitting on eggs. And hatched these two. The one died in egg. It was black. They had the odd middle toe discolored like skin color. Why is that?

Yep, sorry, but when I saw your picture, I also immediately thought Cochin which, by the way, I think are beautiful chickens![]()
he is quite pretty. My daughter will be sad though. She really wanted a silkie. Hmmmm.... wonder if local hatchery has any available. Will have to get a minimum of 3 though. Lol... how do I explain that math to hubby?![]()

Tell him that your Silkie turned in to a Cochin .![]()
And that you need to buy 3 more to increase your chances of getting a Silkie this time round.
he does roll his eyes! Big sigh & then an ok. He really doesn't care as long as I am happy. However... coop is pretty full. Have 3 guineas in the brooder. We will have to wait until next year.I agree, he is adorable; I hope you can keep him
Hhhhm, I am lucky enough to have a hubby who is quite adept at the 'here-we-go-again eye-roll' lol.
I think a sad-faced daughter might add some considerable weight to your chicken-math plea![]()
