Guys...
My silkies are in need of new type of bedding. I read about sand and liked what I saw. I just don't know where to get it...I dont need a lot.there sleep area is 4 ft by 4ft.. Idk what to get I'm confused.

Would anyone be interested in a silkie cockerel? I have a blue bearded silkie that is show quality. He is extremely sweet and needs a loving home. His name is Mystery and he loves people and is never aggressive. Mystery is a little over 3 months. He is $5 or for trade for a silkie hen. I am located in PA. Here he is with one of my hens:

I pick mine up and pet him in front of the hens. It kind of Shames him into who's the boss that being me! It worked so far for me.... Give it a try. It took a few times but eventually he got the hint

I get mine at Home Depot it's the construction prewashed medium grade. Don't get play sand.

Hi! I just got 2 silkies and want someone experienced to tell me what they think. We will love them no matter what but it would be great if they have show potential. I have 4 boys and 2 are old enough to be in 4-h. Here is the rooster











The other we got we don't know the sex yet. Here it is.





Honest opinions please as we hope to breed them if they are male and female.

Looks like a roo and hen to me. Beautiful birds too!
