Silkie thread!

even if one is silkied and one is smooth? theyre both sizzles?
No I was talking about the momma hen. She's a sizzle. The other one I'm not sure about. I think since that's what the breed is (a silkie) it would be a sizzle maybe. Cause all sizzle means is its a frizzled Silkie and if it a Silkie then I think it would be a sizzle.

ok thanks! the hen is a silkie. shes 25% Japanese bantam too, which is what brought out the smooth feathers

Does a person need like some kind of certificate to sell live chicken eggs i have a friend who wants to buy a few eggs to start her a silkie crew I'm just not sure the just of it

Frizzled Silkie= frilkie (just a Silkie with the frizzle gene).
Frizzled normal feathered looking Silkie= Sizzle.
Smooth normal feathered looking Silkie= Sizzle.

They're all part of breeding Sizzles (which is one of the things that I think makes this project so much fun) but when you eventually get to the point where you're breeding just smooths and normal feathered frizzles, you'll stop getting the frizzled Silkies and normal Silkies :)

Ok, trying to guess how many Roos and how many pulleys. Guesses are appreciated. They are 5 days old.
