Silkie thread!

My silkie keeps shaking it's head along with it's polish buddy. They've done it since we got them. They also sneeze occasionally but I think that's environmental. They've been sneezing since pollen season started and there isn't any discharge or anything.

She will just stand there, twitching her head. It doesn't seem to bother her at all. She and the polish sometimes twitch in unison. It's weird!

Is it just from being outside? I know with most of ours, if brought inside or it doesn't rain for weeks, which we haven't seen in forever, they look extremely showy
Not in my hen's case. She looks like this year-round. She's just never had the feathering that my other birds have. She has one heck of a beard but a really short close crest and more tight feathering on her body.

Angry mama hen. Her moms white and her dads partridge (I think)

Head twitching could be one of three things. 1. Upper respiratory disease, 2. External parasites.( lice mites ) or 3. A neurological disorder.
Have you checked inside their ears ? With the sneezing I'd guess CRD.

I checked their ears, their crests, their vents, and under their wings for parasites. Clear. Is it possible for both of them to have the same neurological disorder?

I hope it's not CRD, that's contagious, isn't it? They've had this for weeks with no other symptoms.

Not likely that both would have neurological issues. Upper respiratory symptoms can be very mild to quite severe and anywhere in between. Sinus issues can lead to them having cheesy plugs in their ears and they will head shake in an attempt to dislodge them. Check the nares for plugs also.
