... my chickens have super watery poop. And by that I mean a good third of some of their poop is just water. Would you know if that means anything?

I took my new quarantined Breda pullet for a routine exam to the vet and on the exam table she pooped a clear water puddle - a lot. Vet said the excitement of the car trip in a carrier and a new environment caused her to piddle and it was urine. None of my chickens ever did that before so now I know I have a sensitive chicken in my new Breda. As soon as we were home she was back to normal poops again. I imagine heat stress may cause more watery poops in my outdoor flock since the chickens drink more water and have less appetite for food in the heat.

Chickens are amazing animals and it's almost impossible to not get attached. You just have to find a breed that he is into lol.

I am pretty sure that I have a black Silkie rooster, and him and my white Silkie are inseparable. But I'm afraid I will have to give him away if he crows. Could a chicken die of sadness from losing her mate, of whatever they are? Silly question but I'm new
