Silkie thread!

I took the Silkie babies with the cross beaks to my grandma's house for her to cull, but she decided to let them loose with hers to see if they'll make it.
She said if they get worse she'll cull them, but decided to at least give them a chance.

A woman got ahold of me today and said she had two Silkies that she needed to get rid of and asked if I was interested.
Of course it happened at the perfect time, so I decided to get them.
They're a year old.
Tell me what you guys think of them. Are they good quality? I don't really care too much.. but just wondered.

Thanks. My little brother will be showing them at the county fair here in a few weeks, so we'll see how they do.
He really doesn't care to win, he just likes chickens.

The lady didn't really single me out to ask if I wanted them.. she sent a mass e-mail saying she had them for sale.
I immediately thought it meant I needed them, so I got them..

This is my first time owning Silkies, so I have no idea how to give them baths and such.

They seem to be super calm and lazy. Is that normal?

They're friendly though.
