My splashed girl is broody, but I have no fertile eggs for her. I'm used to broody ducks, not chickens. What should I do?

If you don't have any eggs for her, you should break her.some Silkies tend to brood without realizing their own necessities meaning they'll forget to eat, drink. She's very very pretty!
If you can, lock her out of the coop during the day. You could stick ice cubes under her, I did that once. Not sure wether it actually did anything. If you search it on BYC you'll probably find much better ways to do it. Good luck!
