Silkie thread!

These two chicks are 11 weeks old. Any ideas on gender?

My babies are three months old now and so far I have three pullets for sure and one I'm still not sure of but I'm crossing my fingers that it is also a pullet. My silkie flock did consist of one white male, four blue males and one blue female. I have kept my female with the white male and she hatched one more male and it was white so I now have six males. So momma is glad to have some more girls around. The other male silkies hang with the regular flock. Here's a couple of the new pullets.

I'm brooding a friend's silkie chick with my marans. Both of this little chicks parents were black. Even the breeder she got it from was surprised to see it hatch as all the rest were black obviously. Does this mean that maybe there was a cross somewhere down the line and the recessive gene popped up this time? I'm curious to see what color it grows up to be.....

Please help my one Silkie chick is acting weird, he pulls his head into his chest and walks backwards. He eats and drinks and walks normal at times but keeps doing the head thing, I seperated him from the other chicks.

Could be a peck injury , but it could also be a vitamin deficiency. I'd be inclined to get some poultry vitamins into the water, nutri drench can be administered straight into the beak, just one drop and then also added to their water.
