Silkie thread!

Silkies are very greedy when it comes to sitting on eggs. One time I had 3 hens go broody at one time and they were continuously stealing each others eggs. I think I had a total of 20+ eggs to hatch.
How do they actually steal eggs from a nest? Just picturing them picking an egg up under their wing like a football and making off with it.

White chicks can start out quite smutty and I've even had them hatch light blue.
This is my last hatch of whites.

 they use their little beaks and nudge them towards their nest. One by one.

I bought some silkies & sizzles last summer. The Combs on the males are not only large but I dont think sillie. Am I right? What is that crinkled one?

You shouldn't cross frizzle to frizzle the chicks will come out with deformities because of the frizzleXfrizzle gene will cause the feathers to curl too much.
But I think that your sizzles are 1st generation because the combs on your roos are single instead of walnut

These do NOT look like Silkies to me.
Perhaps a Mix? Regards, Aria
