Silkie thread!

Hey guys! I've just gotten a few Silkie chicks and also have some in the incubator. What are space requirements compared to full size chicken? I read in some of your posts lower roosts, etc. Any other tips for Silkie housing? Pics? I'm getting ready to build them a separate coop and have no idea where to start. Thanks in advance!

They can get wet easily and are not that protected from the cold. I'm getting my first ones in a month so I might not be correct, that's just what I've heard.
Also, that chick, is it a buff, or a mix? I love that coloring.

I don't know?! I bought it from a breeder. I loved the color. It looks almost blue with a yellowish head!

Nothing wrong with asking questions. :) I feed my babies mashed banana with boiled rice, they love it. My older birds like their banana rolled in mixed seed. :)
Bananas are a great source of B group vitamins , deficiencies of B1 are the main cause of wryneck.

Lovely birds! I'm going to add rice. I feed mine banana, too. They love yogurt and greens. Are non-bearded more popular where you live?
