Silkie thread!

Thank you. I'll try the brewers yeast. I give them a little scrambled egg every morning. Will lightly dust it. She was a vaulted baby - photo attached. The sizzle baby is behind her.

I got called into work they see me leaving at bedtime- confused.

I have 1 little silkie chick I named Varauchka. She is very friendly and follows me wherever I go, she's very good at modeling. I would like to get her into the show career and maybe modeling career but I'm not exactly sure how? She does have a little nerve damage on her foot. Varauchka doesn't show any signs of limping and its very hard to tell at times if her foot was even twisted. The damage doesn't look like it would affect her chicks if she has any when she's older. Would the defect be a big deduction of points?

P.S. I am new to this web sight, I didn't know how to respond to comments so I edited this.

Thanks for clarifying that. I think it is best that newbies understand that supplements are only needed when there is a shortfall.
I've been using a great product here in Australia called Anitone. Formulated by a vet and have seen great improvement in the health of our horses, goats and chickens since discovering it 3 years ago. I have a male goat that often suffers from selenium deficiency and when he is at his worst he is almost crippled. The addition of Anitone over his warm mash has him up on his legs again and his limbs are almost straight again. My birds don't like polivisol yet they will eagerly eat or drink the Anitone. We've also found that it helps horses that are on the verge of colic and take it on all of our competition trips.

There's something in the States called Manna Pro Calf Manna that's used for all livestock -- wonder if it's like the AU Anitone since I don't see Anitone available here?

Thx for the input. I need to spend some time in a Best Buy after the holidays to get some more feature questions answered. Your T3i is WiFi?

I am sure that it does, I just do the old fashion takin the sd card out and ploppin it in my laptop. (not that technologically advanced) I even still have the same factory lenses lol. Photography has become so mainstream these days that it seems you can never do something original anymore.

I know mine has wifi. I don't use it, I put the card in the laptop as well.

I took some time to do more Canon research today. The t5i and t6i series are for more extensive motion picture captures and I'm not into motion pictures nor am I a fan of connecting to my smartphone for anything more than texting. I started with a 12-exposure-shots Brownie film camera in the 1950's and then filmed Super 8 motion picture film in the '60s and was pretty good at holding a steady camera. DH had expensive Nikon and Olympus macro/micro film cameras in the 1970s but those were his babies only. My ultimate joy is taking still shots. The plain T5 with a disk that pops into the computer is enough for me plus enjoying the quality of the Canon lens (which hasn't changed in decades according to Canon). I love my point-and-shoot Nikon my DD gave me years ago and it's been enough but it's outdated with only 10mps and doesn't give clear shots of moving chickens LOL! If chickens didn't blur with their constant motion I would just get another point-and-shoot 18 or 20mp camera but those darn chickens don't stay still while I wait for the autofocus to adjust. By the time the focus aligns, the chickens have changed poses! I think the T5 w/3fps is a minor sacrifice compared to the 5fps on the newer costlier Canon models. Not enough fps difference for me to pay the extra $200-$300 on a newer Canon model. Thx for all your input. I've taken a year to research and ask Canon users about their likes/dislikes about their different models.

Here are just a few of my hens that we dyed and took to the local school for the kids to see. I promise, it is dye that is specifically made for animals so non toxic and the hens enjoyed their warm baths and blow dry in this cold NY weather....
