Silkie thread!

I tried posting my first-ever-BYC-post via the free-birds thread, but for some reason it would just log me out. So, I'll try to post here. Maybe I can't sell as my first post?

I hatched 4 silkies. All 4 roos! Lol. Just my luck.

Does anyone want 2 silkie Roos for free. One ridiculously friendly (wants to be picked up), and one that is a bit aggressive to anything that moves (but is such a tiny little wimp, he turns tail and runs as soon as you dont back down). Both are free to a good home. Both black with some brown/grey accents around the neck. I can post pics this weekend if anyone is interested. I'm not even sure if this post will appear.

Central Wisconsin, just west of Wisconsin Dells. I would love to trade for a silkie hen or eggs I can incubate.

I think this new converted website has limited a lot of people from posting. Hope you find homes for your roos. Dealing with cockerel re-homing is one of many reasons I don't hatch but they are so darn cute though!

I give them all sorts of treats and when I put them someplace for a picture, all they do is eat the surroundings.

Has anyone else experienced really dramatic and drawn out molts? I have a few hens that started molting and then went broody and now look a mess. They are already on high protein feed
